ERON MORTGAGE INFORMATION WEBSITE
THE ERON LENDER COMMITTEE

ERON LENDER COMMITTEE ADMINISTRATION
To date our experience suggests those contemplating working for the Eron Lenders on the ELC should consider these thoughts:
A) This role is a part-time job, not an occasional task relegatable to a few hours in the evening or on weekends only. The work takes mid-day hours, often daily and often days in succession, including weekend time. The work disrupts a normal job and costs foregone economic opportunity respecting other regular daily employment.
B) Coordination amongst ELC members and with volunteers is imperative. It requires communications facilities which are all but essential, such as; a personal computer, printer, a fax, telephone voice mail, e-mail, and a cell phone.
Reimbursable expenses have included, printing, postage, parking and long distance calls. Expenses which have not been reimbursed have been for office equipment, general office supplies, phone, fax, internet and mileage.
The lenders in the November 14, 1997 voting indicated approximately 75% supported remuneration of committee members. Subsequent review of this issue with Project Leaders resulted in a recommendation for the amount of an honouraria to be paid to ELC members for their time, effort and leadership.
The recommendation is an aggregate of the individual amounts suggested by each person voting at the April 8, 1998 joint ELC-Project Leader meeting. The aggregate applies from November 14th to February 18th (3 months). Aggregate amounts and times are:
Janet McDermott $ 6,853 555.5 hrs ______________
Ian Wragge $ 6,853 478.5 hrs ______________
David Craig $ 3,260 120 hrs ______________
Steve Ripley $ 2,672 162 hrs ______________
Bob Dominick $ 2,502 93 hrs ______________
These will be submitted to court for approval based on the consultation with project leaders, sample surveying of lenders and feedback you may wish to supply.
Please indicate in the spaces provided above if you have alternate views regarding the honourariums recommended. Please indicate below your views on honorariums for the remaining two members for work from Feb. 18th to Nov. 15th, 1998. (9 months)
I believe the two remaining members of the ELC should receive an honorarium.

I believe newly elected members of the ELC should receive an honorarium.
yes - no (circle one)
I believe a recommended honourarium of about $ 1,800 per person per month for a 2 person ELC would be appropriate, subject to monthly review of performance by the Project Leaders and review by the courts.

if no an appropriate amount is $________________
